Top Ten Tuesdays – Top Ten Books I’d Give To Readers Who Have Never Read Young Adult (#2)

Top Ten TuesdayTop Ten Tuesdays is a weekly meme created by The Broke and The Bookish, every Tuesday there is a new top ten list for bloggers to do. You can read more about that here. 🙂
This week’s list is Top Ten Books I’d Give To Readers Who Have Never Read X (examples: New Adult novels, historical fiction, a certain author, books about a certain topic, etc)
Okay, so for this week’s list, I thought I would make it for people who have never read Young Adult novels. *gasps* I know! I also couldn’t come up with ten answers, I know, that’s really surprising given my blog name. I don’t know why I’m always stuck on nine. I haven’t read nearly as many Young Adult novels as I’ve wanted and I have a really long TBR list. Onto the list…
Top Ten Books I’d Give To Readers Who Have Never Read Young Adult Novels
  1. Anna and The French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
    • This book has an easy reading style, good descriptions and it has a nice writing style.
  2. The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
    • This book is great for emotional feels.
  3. The Statistical Probability of Love At First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith
    • If you’re only going to spend a day in the length of a book, this is it. 🙂
  4. Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell
    • This book has characters that you don’t find in the norm plus it takes place in the 80s, totally worth the read.
  5. Perks of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
    • This is a great coming-of-age novel that deals with multiple issues and again, has characters you don’t always see.
  6. Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
    • Speak is a wonderful book and has great inner dialogue.
  7. The Gemma Doyle Trilogy by Libba Bray
    • This is a nice sort of historical fiction book involving boarding school
  8. Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants series by Ann Brashares
    • This is a great series that has friendship, home issues, and lots of different plots.
  9. Love Letters To The Dead by Ava Dellaira
    • This book is told in letters like Perks, but written to celebrities. The author does a good job at broadening characters and plots.
