May Recap + Looking Forward To: June

The monthly recap is one of my favorite posts to do even though it’s a bit time consuming. Every month I recap my life, my blog, and talk about music, movies, Broadway and book news as well. 🙂 I hope you enjoy it.
Looking Forward To is a monthly feature that I do at the beginning of every month and talk about things I’m looking forward to.

~Blogosphere Participation~

I did Bout of Books (#13) for the second time this year! It was fun again even though I didn’t do complete my goal. I still need to update my progress page here for it.
I participated (a bit too much, oops) in the #YAParty Twitter giveaways! Haha. So funny story, I originally thought you could only post once per prize, so I posted only once, then half an hour later, someone messaged me saying you COULD post more than once per prize, and this was quoted from a host’s tweet. So then I went tweet crazy. (Sorry about that).
THEN I heard from other hosts that only ONE tweet would be counted for each prize so…I spammed a ton of you for no reason. Lol. Sorry!
Besides that, I participated in Armchair BEA and I had fun doing it! That lead to a few of my favorite posts for this past month. ❤
~How Did I  Do With My Blogging/Reading Resolutions and Challenges?~

~Fantastic Videos~

I have been waiting for this video for like a month and a half and I was so happy to finally see it. ❤
I found this amazing and important and real video on depression.
I died watching this video.
I loved this video and this video and this video

~Music I’ve Loved~

I have been playing The DUFF soundtrack over and over. Haha. I’m also back into Rent, because sometimes I just need Rent.
I listened to Brandon Flowers’ “The Desired Effect” and I liked it a ton. Lonely Town finally clicked with me.
I discovered I like Elliot Smith’s Either/Or a lot too. I was always under the impression I didn’t care for it.
I rediscovered this cover of Crush from Glee. I love it.

Looks like you had a fabulous May! That GoT episode was CRAAAAZYY! My heart was beating so fast when Jon and the White Walker were dueling and the entire fight sequence, I was thinking, “Please don’t die. Please don’t die. Please don’t die.” HAHA. And, that cute Wildling mom 😦

Hope you have a great June!

I can’t WAIT for Beneath the Skin!! But I can’t go out and buy it that day because my mom has a rule that I can’t buy stuff in my birthday month, lol. So I guess I’ll have it July first at the latest – but Spotify is going to be my best friend until then haha.

WAIT WAIT WAIT Breaking Benjamin’s new album is coming out this month?? *excited flailing*
