I took a hiatus from the fourth of last month to…yesterday. 🙂 I’ll be going into detail about that in about a week or two.
I got a lot more into music again and it was nice, so I’ll be listing a lot of music below.

 ~Favorite Post~

I didn’t really do a favorite post on here, but I did a post about musicals on Nicole and Sophia’s blog.

~Blogosphere Participation~

I co-hosted #BookNerdBoost with Holly, Faye and Rashika.
I participated in two Twitter chats, both #RQWN. 🙂
I finished reading Cinder for Brittany’s #TLCReadAlong! Now I’m currently waiting on Holly and Val to read Cinder so that I may continue the series.

~Around The Blogosphere~

Here are a few interesting posts I saw last month:

~What I’ve Been Listening To~

I made a little playlist of the music I’ve been listening to. Hopefully the link works, if it doesn’t, tell me.
Live version of Guardian by Sky Ferreira
Miley Cyrus’ new album Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz

~Discovered Music~

I discovered Halsey, well, a little, I already knew of her EP, but I’m getting a bit more into her now. My favorite song of hers (besides Empty Gold<3) is Drive. So far. 🙂
I also discovered Melanie Martinez, Tori Kelly, Elle King, Coeur de Pirate Roses, The Paper Kites Twelvefour, Briana Marela “All Around Us” and Diana Vickers Music To Make Boys Cry, she also has a new song called Chains.
I discovered this unreleased track, Never Gonna Let You Go by Shinedown, which will apparently be on the Japanese Import edition of their album! It better be<3I’m pretty much living for this song, Asking For It by Shinedown. They sound so flawless. I listened to S.O.S. by Hurts too, which is the b-side to Some Kind of Heaven by Hurts.

~Older Music I Listened To~

~Music Videos~

Highway Patrol Stun Gun by Youth Lagoon
High By The Beach by Lana Del Rey
Wildest Dreams by Taylor Swift
Invincible by Kelly Clarkson
Lights by Hurts
C’est La Vie by Stereophonics

~New In Music News~

The Neighbourhood confirm new album, Wiped Out!, and give release date, October 30th!
Natasha Khan (Bat For Lashes) starts a side project called Sexwitch.
The xx have claimd they’re working on new music. I hope this is true.

~Musical News~

~Fantastic Videos~

The accuracy of this video is so on point… :
“I have waited a 123 texts, 120 episodes, nine deaths and five fucking seasons to find out that *BLAH* was fucking A.”
*I hid the identity of A by using BLAH*
I’m still so ticked off about Pretty Little Liars GRR. Just ask like, anyone.
The cast of That’s So Raven reunited on The View! It’s amazing, I just started watching it and oh my gosh, I LOVE IT.

~Book Related News~

The Sky Is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson has been optioned.
Holly Black signs new YA trilogy

~TV News~

I am still waiting for the word that Girl Meet World has been renewed.:(

~What I’ve Been Watching~

Girl Meets World

I just discovered this was up on Netflix a couple days after it officially went up. I watched the first season and what there is of the second season in roughly three days. Odds are you saw me tweeting about it, but just in case you didn’t. Here are various conversations I had involving the show, where you can read all my tweets. 😉 To make it easier, ha, I generally use the #WatchingGMW tag, unless I run out of space. 😦 And I try to keep them in the same “conversation”. Unless I forget how to do that, which I did. Anyway, I LOVE THIS SHOW. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I HOPE IT NEVER ENDS. Disney needs to get rid of the four season rule fast, I don’t want the show to end in only two seasons.

I was watching this on Netflix until I dsicovered Girl Meets World and figured out the reason they dropped a plot line in Pokemon. -_- The writers thought fans would just forget. HAHAHAHA, NO, THEY STILL THINK ABOUT IT TEN YEARS LATER. Gah. And then in a later season, they say Ash is only ten. -_- No, no, no, no, no, that is RIDICULOUS. GR. Anyway…:)

~Interesting Posts~

I also made a little Storify Story of tweets that I favorited this past month. This doesn’t even include the first ten days (I got tired of scrolling). 🙂
And then there are these whole conversations which were great
Now onto the next part…

Before We Go
IT TAKES PLACE IN ONE NIGHT, WHICH MEANS I HAVE TO SEE IT.I found the trailer for this movie last night and apparently it already, sort of, came out but now it’s getting released again. I probably won’t be able to see it in theaters since it’s limited but I’ll find it somehow. 🙂
About Ray
I am so excited for this movie. It has Elle Fanning in it and I just really like her despite not seeing her in anything before. The film looks really moving and thoughtful and the main character/plot reminds me of Adam from Degrassi.
Naomi and Ely’s No Kiss List
I had no idea this was becoming a movie. I watched the trailer and really want to see it though. I am all for these YA book to movie adaptations. Of course, they all feel really similar, but that’s a small detail and I actually like it. I still need to read the book.
Time Out Of Mind
Time Out Of Mind looks like it will be pretty moving given the main character’s circumstances. It involves family dynamics, which I love. ❤

~Other Things I’m Looking Forward To~

  • Giving and receiving things from my Secret Sisters, I’m trying to figure out my boxes for the rest of the months and it’s a bit hard (because I want to get her everything).
  • Possibly going to a Three Days Grace concert on the 12th of this month with my old college roommate/friend. Hopefully we can because I told her that I was going to buy the tickets…last week. 😦 Ha, I will let you know how this goes next Sunday…
  • Friends of The Library book sale on the 18th! The 18th is just the best day because of all the music coming out. ❤
  • Blogging again! I’m so glad to be done with my hiatus and I can’t wait to get back into regularly blogging again.
~On That Note~
Griffin Teen has changed their website around! You can see it here. I love it. Muted background colors are my favorites.  It launched yesterday so this is a little late. 🙂 You can also enter their sweepstakes here.
I hope you enjoyed this very, very long post and have a good rest of the month. 🙂

I read that post by Rowan Blanchard, it was fabulous! How someone that young can be so insightful… well, it gives me a modicum of hope for our future at least 😉 Speaking of, if it doesn’t get renewed, we shall have to sob forever.

I also would like ALL the books. Thanks.

Also yes I love Halsey. I have been listening to her album on Spotify, but other than that I have mostly been using the recs from Spotify.

AND I HAVE ALREADY READ CINDER. I HAVE READ THE ENTIRE SERIES. I AM JUST WAITING FOR WINTER. I know I was supposed to reread it, but let’s face it I cannot. Gah. Maybe I will try to catch up? I don’t knowwww
