Looking Forward To is a monthly feature where I showcase all the books, music, movies, etc. that I’m looking forward to.

Already Listened To: Last Young Renegade, Gone Now and Hopeless Fountain Kingdom. I liked them all pretty well, especially Halsey’s. I love the dark sound.

  • Pretty Little Liars is ending on June 27th and I’m freaking out a ton because I will be traveling back from Chicago at that time. Oh my gosh. It’s going to be spoiler city. I literally won’t be able to get on social media at all after I leave.
  • Grey’s Anatomy Season 13 will be hitting Netflix on June 17th. Yessssssssss
  • Moana will be going on Netflix on June 20th. Again, yesssss.

Oh, The 100 will be going on Netflix as well but I am mad at that show and super intruiged and I will not talk about it. Check out my tweets.

~Everything Else~

And if you’re wondering where I’m traveling to, I am going to ALA in Chicago! I’m going with my mom because I need someone to carry books for me, right? Just kidding (about that second part). If you’d like to meet up, let me know! I’d love to meet people and hang out and such. 🙂

So, what are you looking forward to this month? Any vacations? Did you go to BEA? How was it? Have you read any of the books I’m looking forward to? Are you looking forward to a book I didn’t mention? I do leave out fantasy most of the time? Is there an artist or band coming out with an album I let slip under the radar? Are you going to ALA? Would you like to meet? Would you like to let me follow you around to get books until I inevitably disappear in the sea of panels? Let me know.

Monthly Recap: April + Looking Forward To: May

This month has just been pretty much unbearable. Just seriously every single thing that has happened has just made me so, so done with this year. I’m going to go into detail about this a little bit regarding BEA in a later post, because that’s caused a huge amount of stress.

We’re still dealing with a situation at home, so that’s…not fun. More stress there.

I’ve been having a lot of anxiety as well just about everything this month, including BEA, so once again, not fun.

Really, I’m just trying to keep myself in one piece. Haha.

Due to all of this, I’ve gone on a hiatus since the 10th. Fortunately though, I think I’m back. I hope I’m back. I can’t go to BEA when I’m on a month long hiatus, that’s silly.

Here’s hoping May gets better, but I have a feeling it’ll be getting a bit more rockier.

Most Excited For: Not To Disappear, Matter and Don’t You.

I’ve been in love with Wet since hearing “It’s All In Vain”. I’m a bit hesitant about Panic! At The Disco, nothing will top the first album for me, I have a feeling it will be much like Fall Out Boy’s American Beauty/American Psycho for me, which I didn’t like much, but did buy. On sale. Ha.

I haven’t The 5th Wave yet but the movie looks really interesting, if not a bit scary. Maybe more than a bit. Oh…I just noticed Chloe Grace -Moritz is in it…great… Let’s just say I’m not a HUGE fan of her after she ruined  starred in If I Stay.

  • All the shows come back this month! Kind of. A few are only going to have one episode, but you know, every episode counts. Every. Single. One.
  • Girl Meets World has two episodes.
  • Pretty Little Liars continues it’s sixth season!
  • iZombie has a new episode, I still need to desperately catch up on that show.
  • Degrassi premiered it’s new ‘season’/show tonight and will have the first ten episodes on Netflix in eleven days. Yay. I think…
  • The Vampire Diaries and The Originals both end the month with new episodes. I’m super behind on The Originals still. Sigh.

~Everything Else~

  • I’m (more or less) participating in Bout of Books which lasts until the 10th! I haven’t made much/any progress. I’m still stuck reading the book I was on before it started. 😦 Sigh. I’m aiming to finish it tonight though and then get started on the others.
  • I’m on the blog tour for Firsts and there will be a guest post from Laurie E. Flynn, which is great.
  • There’s also Bloggiesta going on from the 16th to the 17th.

Are you looking forward to anything this month? Have you read any of these books, listened to any of these artists or watched any of these shows? If not, you must watch The 100 at the very least. 🙂

Weekly Recap + Looking Forward To: December ’15

Looking Forward To is my monthly feature where I showcase the books, movies, and movies I’m looking forward to along with everything else.

I’m going to recap what I posted so far in December in this post as well, since there wasn’t a ton. You can read that at the end of the post. 🙂

Oh my gosh, I can’t believe a year went by so fast. That’s a RENT reference, you can expect about a thousand more of them on my blog and on Twitter, don’t tell me you don’t love it.

Seriously though, it’s unbelievable. I’m going to have to try to watch some Christmas movie. Eloise At Christmas Time maybe? And Cricket On The Hearth! My favorite Christmas movie that I haven’t actually seen completely. But I mean, it’s Charles Dickens and it’s romantic and it’s animated, so bring it!

Speaking of bringing it…

Since this post is pretty late (motivation is not my friend this month), I’m going to still talk about things that have already come out. Haha.

Cage The Elephant Tell Me Im Pretty

What I’ve Heard: Grimes album is amazing, which I said before, seriously, go listen to it. It’s been out on digital and is finally getting the physical release.

Maria Mena’s was an album I just listened to offhand Friday night after realizing that Coldplay’s album wasn’t on Spotify. Sigh.

I’d heard Maria Mena’s song “I Don’t Wanna See You With Her” on a website weeks ago, became pretty excited for the album but then the fourth came and I was like “Eh”. I’m so glad I decided to go back and listen to the whole album. I adore it.

Troye’s album is pretty good and I love what I’ve heard of Cage The Elephant’s new album. ❤

Most Excited For: Cage The Elephant since…that’s the only one that hasn’t come out. ;D

And Everything Else

  • Christmas! I’m excited for Christmas even though not a lot will be going on with that, but it is a big deal to me for religious reasons.
  • Christmas music, yes, I’m that dreadful person you don’t like that enjoys Christmas music. ❤
  • I can finally watch Belle’s Enchanted Christmas again! But do I? Hmm, we’ll see.
  • Any and all peppermint things! Peppermint taffy, peppermint bark, peppermint mocha creamer, gah. ❤ I love it all.
  • I’m excited to put together my package for OTSPSecretSister as well as the package for an exchange Holly, Shannon, Val and I are doing.
  • I’m excited for this year to be over, really. It’s been kind of hard and so I’m hopeful that next year will be better.

Gilmore Girls

I want to know.

Looking Forward To: November ’15

Whoa, I need to preface this a lot, haha, it’s six days late. Oops. So obviously all of the Nov. 3 books and Nov. 6 albums came out already. 🙂

I don’t like November a ton because it starts snowing and being super cold. I don’t like snow and I don’t like being super cold. 😦

And Everything Else

I can officially wear sweaters/hoodies!

I finally received my ipod back at the end of last month, so I’m kind of looking forward to putting music on it. I kind of have a lot. That’s an understatement, I may do a post about this. Possibly.

Oh! Thanksgiving, that is something too look forward to, a bit.

I’ve been putting applications in frequently (God bless the internet age), so hopefully I hear back from something. I had interviews a couple weeks ago with Michael’s and Burlington’s Coat Shop, the latter didn’t lead anywhere and I need to call Michael’s back. It’s really hard (and depressing, really) job hunting. Sigh.

Enough of that though, tell me what you’re looking forward to this month? Have you read any of these awesome looking books? Are you a fan of these singers/bands I listed? Are you going to go Black Friday shopping?

Looking Forward To: October ’15

Top Albums I’m Most Excited For (Excluding Pre-Orders): Confident, Revival, Return To The Moon, Angles + Ghosts, Wiped Out!, Astoria

~Highly Anticipated Singles~

Focus by Ariana Grande (Oct. 30) FINALLY!

I actually have no idea what is coming out this month. So if you know, tell me. 🙂 I just wanted to make a graphic.

And Everything Else

Hey everyone! Guess what, guess. It’s my birthday month! YAY. I guess you could say I’m looking forward to it, but it’s different from when I was a kid. Obviously. Haha. I’m going to be 24 which seems so…weird to me. Like, really weird. I grow old on the 11th. 😉
  • Sweater weather
  • Pumpkin baked goods
  • Pumpkin spiced lattes
  • Crunchy leaves
  • Fall, Fall, Fall
  • All the birthdays, besides my birthday, there’s my mom’s birthday tomorrow and my sister’s birthday on the 17th. 🙂 I’m mostly looking forward to the cake, to be honest.

Let me know what you’re looking forward to this month!
