Top Ten Books I’ve Added To My TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created and hosted at The Broke and The Bookish. Every week they create a new list for bloggers. If you want to sign up, you can go here. This week’s list is for the top ten books I’ve added to my TBR list lately. 🙂
Lois Lane: Fallout by Gwenda Bond

Lois Lane Fallout

Army brat? Um, yes.
5 to 1 by Holly Bodger

5 to 1

Indian dystopian? Yes please. It sounds amazing.
Romancing The Dark In The City of Light by Ann Jacobus

Romancing The Dark in the City of Light

I’m a little worried about this one, it seems like there’s going to be a love triangle. However, it takes place in Paris and reminds me of Anna and The French Kiss so…I’m ready.<3
Before We Were Strangers by Renee Carlino

Before We Were Strangers

I adore second chance books, especially when the book originally takes place during college.
A Thousand Nights by E. K. Johnston

A Thousand Nights

Arabian Nights? I need it. ❤

A History of Glitter and Blood by Hannah Moskowitz (Not pictured)
I’ve never read one of Hannah’s books but I own Not Otherwise Specified. She seems to be awesome on Twitter and I love the summary of this book, so I want to read it. It’s about fairies! ❤
I Crawl Through It by A.S. King

I Crawl Through It

This one sounds so fascinating, it’s about four teenagers who survived rape. It sounds really original.
The Forbidden Wish by Jessica Khoury

The Forbidden Wish

This is a retelling of Aladdin! I NEED IT.
This Is Where The World Ends by Amy Zhang (Not pictured)
I have no idea what this is about, but it’s by Amy Zhang who last year wrote Falling Into Place. I loved that book, therefore I will read whatever she puts out.
Velvet Undercover by Teri Brown

Velvet Undercover

I discovered this book a few days ago but brushed it off because of the 3.00 rating. I’ve looked closer and see there were only four ratings, so I’m giving this a shot! Of course.
Let’s see, it takes place during World War 1 and the main character, Samantha joins a woman’s spy group. Um, spies? YES PLEASE. I’ve been wanting to read books about female spies. I’m ready. ❤

I WANTED 5 TO 1 BUT THEY REJECTED ME THOSE BASTARDS. I’ll just have to find another way to get it muhahahha. Meep. Awesome list Amber! I’ve heard of A Thousand Nights but I’m still confused on how people found out about it hahah. I think I’m missing something.

Gosh darn them! I don’t know what they’re thinking! 😦 Yes, get it in another way.

Thanks! I’m not sure actually. I remember hearing about A Thousand Nights a few years ago when it still didn’t have a cover. I think if it had a big cover reveal or something, it got found out about that way. I remember Cait was talking about it a couple times I think. Either way, I’m all for more Middle Eastern books. You’re not missing anything, haha.

I’m so excited about 5 to 1 and A Thousand Nights as well! They sound fantastic. That cover for Romancing the Dark is beautiful, but I won’t be able to handle a triangle if there is one. 😛

I can’t wait for A Thousand Nights. 🙂 I’m so excited about there being more middle eastern centric books and Arabian Nights retellings. I’m not too fond of triangles either, hopefully this one’s not too painful. 🙂
